Welcome to Sturdy. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sturdy mobile, desktop, and web app and related websites (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using Sturdy you confirm that you have the authority to bind the business on whose behalf you are creating a workspace.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Notify us immediately at support@mysturdy.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
- Use the Service to send spam or to process data in a way that violates the rights of others.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of all content and data you put into Sturdy ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display Customer Data solely as needed to provide the Service. We do not use Customer Data to train machine-learning models.
5. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and renew automatically unless cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from inside the app; your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as expressly stated.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; changes will not apply to the current billing period you have already paid for.
6. Beta features
From time to time we may offer beta or preview features. These are provided "as is", may change or be removed at any time, and may have bugs or incomplete functionality.
7. Service availability
We work hard to keep Sturdy reliable, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or fail to pay fees when due. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; you can export your Customer Data for 30 days after termination, after which it may be permanently deleted.
9. Disclaimers
Sturdy is a tool that helps you manage your business. We are not your accountant, auditor, lawyer, or financial advisor. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for any decisions you make based on the Service.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sturdy and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will give you reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence unless otherwise required by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
